| My path has always been driven by wanting to create a sweet sensation and capture and possibly better this feeling. This has led me down many design avenues, all of which have landed me where I am today. Over the next decade I want to further these explorations by combining present day technologies with my traditional hand shaping techniques. All of these ideas will be utilized to achieve top end products leading into a positive future. Michael Mackie Glassing will be a mix of traditional polyester and UV resistant epoxy resins using combinations of 6 oz and 4 oz cloth. Quad Axial cloth will be used with FutureFlex epoxy and stringered epoxy boards. This Quad Axial cloth adds strength through the whole flex pattern of the board. This cloth is combined with the standard 6oz or 4oz lamination on the deck. All of my work will be finished off in a wet rub finish. A polished finish will be available with custom orders on my guns. |
